Bill Atkission is a retired dental technician and former high school baseball coach turned author. Over a distinguished 43-year career in dentistry—spanning the evolution into digital technology—he was featured in several dental publications showcasing his work.

Bill now co-writes with his two daughters, Nikki Conti and Staci Baker.

Nikki is a high school ML teacher with 18 years of experience supporting multilingual students  develop their language proficiency. Staci is a middle school science teacher who brings learning to life through hands-on experiments and engaging classroom projects. She is also the author of The Charm Series, a young readers collection.

Their debut novel, Caught Looking, introduces Jack Cooper—a private investigator and high school varsity baseball coach. The first in a planned series, this thriller follows Jack and his partner, Mitch, as they uncover the dark world of a human trafficking operation, blending the intensity of criminal investigation with the unique world of high school athletics.

They all reside in Western North Carolina with their respective families.
